Chelsea could get stressed - Vertonghen outlines Spurs title ambitions
By Kelly Sanders Apr 07, 2017Mauricio Pochettino said that "nothing is impossible" as Tottenham Hotspur attempt to increase the pressure on Premier League leaders Chelsea.
Dele Alli started the stunning comeback with an equalizer in the 88th minute, before Son Heung-min and Christian Eriksen added further goals in stoppage time at Liberty Stadium.
Conte's side remain favourites though face fourth-placed Manchester City at the Bridge on Wednesday evening with Spurs traveling to Swansea on the same night.
"Even though I have had loan spells, including here at Swansea, obviously you are not allowed to play against your parent club".
"It's a good sign for Spurs that in a vital match, you're down and you come back very, very strong near the end and you finish up winning it".
Eriksen has told Chelsea not to consider ruling Tottenham out of the title race, as he insists they're still very much in it.
Midweek Premier League rounds are a real trip.
Pochettino added that Antonio Conte's side have numerous experienced players who won the title just two years ago, and that that should prevent any late slip-up this season.
"We must be focused and try to win six games and take three points (six times)".
India's manufacturing sector expands in March: PMI
Headcounts rose for the eighth consecutive month, while job growth increased at the fastest pace in almost a year and a half. During March, the pound was weaker and helped competitiveness in exports and the confidence of companies remained high.
Spurs, who have won their last four league games, hold a significant head-to-head advantage over Swansea having picked up nine wins from their last 10 encounters. Today I'm happier than the Arsenal game when we got one point.
"It is insane how the goals came in the last few minutes but we pushed and we created chances to win", he said.
"We can confirm that @HarryWinks sustained ligament damage to his left ankle during Saturday's win at Burnley", Tottenham said via their official Twitter account.
Kyle Walker whipped in a couple of delicious crosses into the six-yard box but no Spurs player had gambled on the ball coming in.
"We are professionals and we have to deal with hard times and go again".
"When I'm a spectator, I can see when one team is afraid, just waiting for one action to win the game".
WHICH Premier League players have struck the woodwork most often this season, in all competitions?
Claiming a top-four spot and returning to the Champions League next season looks nearly certain.
This result could be crushing for Swansea who looked to have held on for crucial points, but instead, they return to the bottom three in sickening fashion. It was a good win for us, above all because when you play after a bad defeat against Crystal Palace, where I think we didn't deserve to lose.
