The City of LaFollette hosts an Independence Day Celebration on July 2nd near Roane State Campus.
There will be fireworks at dark in Berea at Berea City Park.
- Fort Carson - Fort Carson Freedom Fest: Color powder run, vehicle show, live music and fireworks. The parade starts at 1 p.m. Saturday, starting from the R & R parking lot onto Main Street to Walnut Street and ending at the Community Center.
Park visitors should bring lawn chairs or blankets while they enjoy time in the park before the fireworks. The fireworks are sponsored by the Astoria-Warrenton Area Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber Ambassadors Committee. The shuttle service will begin running at 1:45 p.m. and the last pickup will be at 8:45 p.m. The fireworks display closes out the evening. Entertainment is sponsored by Margaret Mary Health.
Elkhart Lake - Friday, June 30, 2017 at Elkhart Lake Fireman's Park and Beach. Musical entertainment featuring Ryan Ideus & The Feudin' Hillbillys, then The Spoken Four gets under way at 6:30 p.m before the 3-D fireworks serve as climax for the evening. Fireworks begin at dusk. The family-fun-filled event will offer festivities for all ages, arts and crafts, face painting, live music and food vendors; serving hot dogs, BBQ, tacos, snow cones, ice cream and much more. During the parade, there will be no public access to the Surf Club or the Madison Country Club. Live music and American flags while rooting for the runners in the "Battle of the Branches" competition. Fireworks will begin around 9:45 p.m.; best viewing will be near Lake Grove Swim Park (surrounding roads will have traffic restrictions). Family-friendly activities start at 9:30 and a parade begins at 10.
Metamora, Indiana - The Metamora Volunteer Fire Department hosts its annual Independence Day Festival at the fire station. Fireworks around 9:15 p.m. There will also be games, a bouncy house, and a beer garden (21 and older).
Free annual Red White Blue & You Celebration held at the Lake Charles Civic Center located at 900 Lakeshore Drive.

The fireworks will begin around 9:15 p.m., but the start time is dependant of light conditions, according to city officials. 11 a.m. -11 p.m. Tuesday. The rain date is Wednesday, July 5th, also around 9:30 p.m.
The Church of the Good Shepherd will be hosting its annual Independence Day Chicken Barbecue at 2614 Main Street, running from 4:30 p.m. until 7 p.m.
