PGA Championship predictions: One of these nine golfers will win this week

The US PGA Championships calendar may be shifted from May to August, according to media reports even as earlier reports suggested the move would only take place in the Olympic year.

"If you look at the greats who have gone round there - Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods - [they are] all sensational drivers of the golf ball".

Johnson missed the cut at the U.S. Open, then fell behind early at the British Open and finished in a tie for 54th place - 16 strokes behind victor Jordan Speith.

It comes during a stop-start season filled with more injury and upheaval, exemplified by the eye-opening decision to sack long-time caddie JP Fitzgerald last Monday. That brings its own attendant pressures, of course.

Billy Horschel is one of the several golfers who will be teeing it up next week at the Wyndham Championship.

Hilley was fortunate enough to get a souvenir from the five-time major champ at a past Wells Fargo Championship. 'He's keeping it pretty light-hearted and positive, which all helps'.

This week at Quail Hollow, Phil Mickelson is making his 100th career major start.

Winless since May 2016 and surrendering a 47-week reign as world No.1 to Dustin Johnson in February, the 29-year-old Day's best finish this season has been a runner-up at the Byron Nelson Classic - where he lost to Billy Horschel in a playoff.

Thomas Pieters: I love generally love Pieters and think he's underrated, but I especially love him this week on this course.
