Trump Takes on Rachel Maddow's Tax Report, 'Leakers'

"As a civilian, it's actually scary".

When I heard Ashley Judd's rant about Trump, she sounded hysterical and not herself.

Love him or hate him, Americans want to watch Donald Trump on television.

The White House responded to it.

As LawNewz's Rachel Stockman explained in an article earlier this week, any case would likely be very hard for Trump to pursue given First Amendment protections. Obama has been on vacation in Hawaii, Tahiti and elsewhere since the inauguration.

As she told Michael Grynbaum of The Times in a recent interview, she never assumes that her viewers have all the information and context they need: "There's new people here every night".

If the Trump team were to have any hope of convincing a court that Maddow committed defamation, he would have to prove that Maddow and Johnston obtained Trump's tax returns illegally.

But by the time the ball found Jalen Brunson's hands, he hardly had time to manage anything but an aimless, half-strength chuck. The Wildcats kept pushing, with Wisconsin missing more free throws and turning over the ball as Happ and Koenig rode the bench.

This would make sense if she hadn't hyped the documents to lure in viewers and then devoted so much time to talking about what we could learn from them. And I want to know why the president won't release more of them. Somewhere in a basement file cabinet, I also have two 1040 tax returns from 2005.

Or Meyers: "Rachel Maddow aired an exclusive report last night uncovering a portion of President Trump's 2005 tax return".

The president's son slammed leakers broadly for releasing part of Trump's tax returns, which he has withheld from the public. The melodramatic build-up to the reveal, though, earned Maddow and company some Twitter-based outrage, a long-form bit of mockery from Stephen Colbert-and her highest ratings ever.

CNBC: "Donald Trump just got a nice victory, thanks, of all people, to Rachel Maddow". It finished behind only an episode of "Countdown with Keith Olbermann". She's a cable news host at the peak of her popularity who took advantage of a great "get", and shared it with viewers in precisely the way her show covers stories every other night.

The New York Post " s Page Six cited an unnamed NBC "insider" who described "friction" between MSNBC and NBC News over the Trump taxes story. You don't leak them, you're not allowed to. "I don't do that because I don't think it's fair".

Or Fallon: "The tax return apparently had "Client Copy" stamped on it". All of my tax returns are good'. We have a certain establishment that's leaking'.
