Holiday spending rose 9 percent Thursday and Friday combined, compared with the same two-day period previous year, according to First Data. Both sites more often sold those toys at lower prices than Amazon compared with other retailers including Target Corp. and Toys "R" Us, Boomerang said. Walmart offered $100 off a regularly priced $300 Power Wheels Disney Frozen Jeep Wrangler motorized toy auto.
