How the WWE reacted to The Undertaker's returnBy Dora Ramos Nov 20, 2016
I couldn't lift my arms up to get dressed.
If the Toronto crowd does boo Goldberg in the Survivor Series main event, it'll dampen what's supposed to be a special moment for the once undefeated wrestling superstar, as his match with Lesnar is supposed to be his retirement match. Now this isn't the first time these two monsters collide in the ring. As for Lesnar, he gets a chance for revenge following his loss to Goldberg at WrestleMania XX, a match that neither is particularly proud of - Lesnar and Goldberg both left the company following that night in 2004. Interestingly, the match was supposed to take place at Wrestlemania 32 earlier this year, but Cena's injury caused the match to be delayed.
Apart from that, "The Phenom" held an unparalleled record of consecutive victories on "The Grandest Stage of Them All" Wrestlemania, which, to very big uproar by fans, was broken in 2014 by Brock Lesnar. On July 4th of previous year, the WWE broadcasted a live event from Tokyo, Japan, a show that also featured Brock Lesnar. The event will also have a number of matches between WWE SmackDown and Raw. The women's division is continuously in focus from top to bottom, and features newer wrestlers in key roles more often than that.
WrestleMania 33 isn't scheduled until April 2, 2017 in Orlando, Florida, but it looks like The Undertaker will be seen more than usual over the next five months. Which was appropriate because the match was just bad. They'd just bought WCW for pennies on the dollar, and instead of investing in a legit invasion angle by assuming the contracts of a few of the upper tier WCW guys, they pieced it together with mid card guys, ECW guys, and even turned a few WWE guys INTO makeshift WCW players. He is also stated that WrestleMania will not define who he is, so you can be sure you we will see him in the ring, whether it's at TLC or the Royal Rumble or another pay-per-view event before April. It will be a brawl so that means fans should expect a lot of punches, kicks and since Lesnar is in the match, suplexes. So, it's baffling to think that Vince McMahon believed that he could get Lesnar booed when they returned to "The Beast's" billed hometown. Now that touches the WWE universe's heart.
Even if he was sticking around to take part in another match or two I'd feel the same way. "There was a bunch of guys talking about it, but looking around the hotel I was the only one that ended up sitting out so I said, 'Ah, I guess it didn't happen'".
Prior to becoming a WWE fan favorite, Foley made his mark as a sometimes ultra-violent hardcore wrestler, commonly leaping - or falling - from risky heights, enduring weapon attacks and hobbling out the ring with a smile on his face afterward.
Twitter suspends several alt-right accounts
Twitter has finally had enough of the alt-right white nationalist hate speech landing on its platform and has suspended a number of the most egregious accounts.
The WWE could announce in March that Goldberg is going to be in the Hall of Fame.
"WrestleMania will no longer define who I am". Well the build towards this match looks pretty great, the fans are happy. Goldberg.he hasn't really competed. I couldn't sit stand or walk without pain.
This isn't to say that RAW should be just like SmackDown.
It's unfinished business for both men.
Brock Lesnar and Goldberg will face each other for the second time.
Gavin Jasper should probably go watch Goldberg's performance in Santa's Slay in preparation. No matter where you turn in the world, the results of the political fallout from the election of Donald Trump are being felt everywhere, by everyone - including a WWE Hall of Famer who implored his social media following not to vote for his fellow 2013 inductee.
